linen pinboard revisited

One of my favorite DIY projects to date is the linen pinboard I made awhile back. Today, the lovely Mrs. Limestone featured my project on her blog. I wanted to revisit it here on b*spoke to show you all how I’ve been using the pinboard lately. I ended up making a second board, and they are now leaned against the wall at the back edge of my desk. I use them daily for pinning up inspirational clippings, family photos, reference numbers and the like. One of the best things I did was to take clips and pin them on the board with slim silver thumbtacks. This system allow for a quick, easy way of changing things out on a regular basis. If you’d like to make your own linen pinboard, and you have about $15 and 15 minutes, you can follow my step-by-step instructions here.

I’m headed out to open up the garage sale for day 2, so it’s off the computer for me. I’ll be back Monday with a really fun series I’ve put together to welcome in the autumn season. I’m excited to share it with all of you, so stay tuned! Have a lovely weekend, my dears.

Your desk looks so clean and organized. I love the personalized look that the linen board provides, I might just have to try that! Good luck at the garage sale today – I hope everything sells!

  2. I absolutely love this pinboard!! And your blog.

So glad I found you through Brooklyn Limestone!
