It’s been awhile since I’ve given an updates on all the work that keeps my days full. I think it’s time to remedy that, so today I’d like to open the door to my studio and invite you all in. Lately, I have been really busy with blog designs, and I have to say that I’m loving it. Having been trained in traditional print media, doing blog and web design was never something I thought I’d take on. I still do a large amount of identity and branding work, as well as my fair share of print pieces such as business cards, letterhead and brochures. Yet, it’s the blog designs that have me excited. There is something about the process that thrills me, and I love that each blog takes on a life of its own after the design is complete and the author moves in.
This fall, I designed a blog for the lovely and talented Kim Box. Kim is a portrait and wedding photographer from Alabama with a love for all things design. Her aesthetic is very similar to mine, which made for an easy and natural design process. ‘Life, Love & Pictures’ is all about things that inspire Kim, and seeing as she has great taste, perusing her posts is quite a treat.
