If you’ve been reading for awhile, you may remember when I refreshed my tired kitchen last spring. I documented the entire process from start to finish here on the blog, writing about everything from refinishing cabinet doors to choosing hardware and lighting. Our kitchen refresh was then featured on Young House Love in a Reader Redesign. I was pretty thrilled to share our little project with the world, but even more giddy when I got an email from an editor at Kitchen+Bath Makeovers© (a Better Homes and Gardens Special Interest publication) about a possible magazine feature.
Editor Rachel Haugo and her team showed up last July with cameras and props and went to town photographing our kitchen for the spring issue of Kitchen+Bath Makeovers©. Last week the spring issue hit the stands, and I was first in line to grab a copy. I flipped nervously through the pages (in the aisle at the grocery store), and was temporarily in shock when I saw my kitchen staring back at me from not one, but three glossy spreads. Who would have guessed that our little $500 makeover would land in a magazine?! I am honored, to say the least. Check out the spreads below, or pick up the mag to read the full article!

WAHOO! Your kitchen is famous!
How excited to see YOUR kitchen in a magazine spread! A great investment that really made that space SHINE
How exciting! I’m going to get a copy right away. Great work Beth : ) It’s also an encouragement to the rest of us working quietly at home on our projects. We just have to get them out there to be noticed. Congrats.
Wow! I am so excited for you! You are amazing.
