delightful {thrifty measuring cups}

Last weekend, my parents and I wandered into a local thrift store to browse. My mom was on the hunt for coffee cups to add to her collection of mismatched white mugs. My dad was checking to see if they had any nice cowboy boots, and I was simply wandering the aisles, waiting for something to catch my eye. On an endcap, in the kitchen section, I found this sweet set of measuring cups. They are heavy, white porcelain, with the measure amounts displayed on the tiny handles. The details are simple and clean, and the best part is that they were only $4. I am planning to display them in one of my glass-front cabinets amongst my other white dishes, where I think they will look quite delightful!

    Oh, my–I want! Do these have any kind of pottery mark on the bottom? I’d love to find my own set.

  2. Bethany says:

    Brie, you’re in luck! They do have a mark. These are made by Pfaltzgraff. I did a bit of checking and it seems you can get them here (,default,pd.html), and for only $15. Not too bad! They also have red, green, pink, blue and yellow.

  3. Brie says:

    Oh, thank you! Now, off to buy some: )

  4. Leigha says:

    Very adorable. Just another reason to LOVE thrift and vintage stores.

  5. Sherry says:

    What thrift stores do you frequent?

    • Bethany says:

      Sherry, I don’t go thrifting too often, but when I do, I like to hit up Good Will in either Hopkins or Maple Grove, or some small local shops. Where do go?
