About a month ago, I got an email from my friend Shauna Younge (a.k.a dessert table extraordinaire) asking me if I would be interested in collaborating on a little project. Her vision was to put together a Halloween-themed dessert table using only items purchased from Target. Shauna nailed it when she single-handedly designed a stunning spread that’s truly attainable for any party host, with easy-to-find ingredients, candies, and dishware. I then created an invitation with a coordinating wrap-around label to complement Shauna’s table and set the stage for a spooky and spectacular Halloween party.

A couple weeks later, on a perfect fall day, I met up with Shauna and my dear friend and fabulous photographer Emily Steffen. We ventured into the forest near the cottage to set up and shoot the Totally Target Halloween Dessert Table that Shauna had designed. I styled the table, and Emily photographed all the amazing details. She even captured me at work, as you can see above. I am always “tweaking” while on a shoot!

Today our little project is featured on one of my favorite blogs, Twig & Thistle. Head on over there to check it out! There are more details and lots of lovely photos, plus printable candy wrappers from Shauna, and the free printable invitation I designed.

Plus, don’t forget to download the coordinating wrap-around label HERE!

Also view more photos on Emily’s blog, and visit Shauna’s blog for tutorials and DIY’s on creating your own version of this project. Happy Thursday, my dears!
